  Conic Hill
Conic.jpg
This is the second day of the walk with a view from 'Conic Hill' right on the Highland Boundary fault. This is the spot where 400 million years ago the Lowlands crashed into the Highlands, causing a fault line, throwing up Conic and the surrounding hills and squeezing up the chain of Islands in the background.
To give you an idea of the scale here, the small dots on the water to the inner left of the first big island are Yachts - resting at anchor.
