During our walk we stopped for the night at
Drymen - Rowardennan - Inverarnan - Tyndrum
Kingshouse and Kinlochleven.

This gave us a very long ( almost 20 mile / 32 km ) stretch to walk over Rannoch Moor, between Tyndrum and Kingshouse. Not too difficult - but not recommended for everyone. Some people break the journey by staying over in Crianlarich, or Bridge of Orchy or by re-arranging their overnight stay in different towns from the ones we chose. It is best to know what your comfortable doing in a single day, bearing in mind that you have to walk again the next day. Remember that for the sake of safety, you must be able to comfortably reach your destination before darkness falls.
